Sweet Potato Wedgies- a Penzey's Treasure now adopted by our Asheville Bed and Breakfast

 Below you will find a delicious recipe for Sweet Potato Wedgies-A Penzey's Treasure now adopted by our Asheville Bed and Breakfast.

4 Large Sweet Potatoes
1 T. canola oil per potato
1 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. cracked rosemary
1/4 tsp of ground cumin
1/4 tsp. of penzey's pepper (or other)
1/4 tsp. of kosher salt

Peel and cut potato into wedges.  Brush with oil and sprinkle with spices. Bake the taties at 375 degrees for 25-30 mins., turning one time 1/2 way through baking process. 

This recipe has been adopted by our Asheville Bed and Breakfast is a take off of a Penzeys Spices recipe that they send in those handy-dandy newsletters. All of these recipes are sent in by cooks using their spices.  We use those recipes or variants of them often and love Penzeys.
