Very best places to view Fall Color in Asheville North Carolina, Graveyard Fields

One of the very best places to view fall color in Asheville North Carolina, Graveyard Fields! Gary and I love this hike and take it often both to the lower falls as well as to the higher falls.
It is only about 45 minutes away and would definitely be on our short list of Great things to do, Attractions in and around Asheville NC.

We have many regional travelers as guests at our Asheville Bed and Breakfast and many of them come from topography not as challenging as that we experience in Western North Carolina.  We try to take care in recommending hikes to our guests for that reason.  This hike is moderate both in incline at only 300ft. and also is both well tended and at 3.4 miles -easy to just enjoy being outdoors.  Further, it is stunningly beautiful in both summertime ( with an added bonus of some swimming holes along the way just in case you need an excuse for a cool dip in seeking some relief from the heat.)
In fall, it is an all time Asheville local favorite for great family times.  Have a great time of your own and find your way down our spectacular Blue Ridge Parkway (milepost 418.8.)    At Cumberland Falls Bed and Breakfast Inn can help you with the picnic.  See our A Tisket-A Tasket- A Blue Ridge Parkway Picnic Basket Special we are currently making available for our guests.  Make a special memory, enjoy being outdoors and experiencing a fall color display you will not soon forget.
Happy Fall and Happy Leaf Looking!
